A shelf or display idea
Describe the opening or wall space, desired depth, intended use and any mounting constraints. Ask what site measurements or installation details would need to be reviewed.

Bring natural finishes into the design conversation.
A finish is part of how a piece looks, feels and fits into everyday use. Tell us if you want the natural grain to remain the focus, and whether you prefer a matte appearance or a soft sheen. Include how the furniture will be used and what maintenance you are comfortable with.
Ask to discuss the specific finishing product and a sample on the chosen wood. Confirm the expected appearance, care, drying or curing time and future touch-ups as part of the quote. “Natural finish” describes the design direction here; the actual product and its suitability are agreed for each project.

Timing depends on the agreed design, materials, preparation and schedule. Share your target date and ask for the expected timing after the scope has been reviewed. No standard lead time is promised on this page.
Do I need to choose the wood before asking?
No. Describe the look, intended use and budget you have in mind. If you have a preferred species or an existing slab, mention it so those details can be considered.
Can I send a reference photo?
